HOW LONG WILL I OR MY CHILD NEED TO ATTEND THERAPY?

This is a great question but also one that is tough to answer because everyone is so different. I'd love to say it takes "x" number of sessions or a specific amount of time, but it really depends on the individual and the issues you want to work on.

DO YOU OFFER TELE-THERAPY? IS IT THE SAME AS IN PERSON SESSIONS?

Yes! Due to COVID, I am currently only offering sessions via a HIPAA-secure telehealth platform or phone.

Telehealth is a great option right now in order to keep everyone safe. It's a little different than working with someone in person, but in some ways has a lot of great benefits that in person therapy doesn't have. If you're feeling unsure about doing therapy online, let's talk about it and I believe we'll be able to find a way to make it work.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

I do not currently take insurance. However, you may be able to get partially reimbursed by your insurance company for our sessions together. Call your insurance company and ask if they reimburse for "out of network providers."

HOW DOES THERAPY WORK WITH CHILDREN?

Children speak two therapeutic languages: behavior and play. Through play with games, toys, art, and various other activities, children communicate their needs, wants, joys, and fears. I aim to create a safe space for your child to process their thoughts and feelings through their play.
